The old man again asked, What is this?
Son angrily said, are you Deaf or Mad papa?
How many times i need to tell you that it is a Crow.

HELPING HANDS INTRODUCTORY VIDEO

Tips for Scoring Good Marks/Good % in JNTU Final Exams

You can find some of the tips for scoring good marks or good % in JNTU final exams. Just go through all the links present below. Hope these will help u out to know how to get gud marks.Just click on the links

The below given key points will gain you the good marks in jntu final exams. These points are gathered from my experience and also my friends experience and we finally got out with distinction without any single backlog from first to last year

I hope these points will help you a lot for gaining the good marks in your final exams.

1) The main key point in the final exams is your HAND WRITING. If your hand writing is good then no problem if not then try to write the words clearly and make sure to keep 3 space gap between each word. Try to avoid making mistakes as the evaluator shouldn’t get irritated with your paper.

2) Another key point is PRESENTATION. It plays vital role in evaluation. along with neat hand writing presentation is also important. Try to write in a point wise manner and write them correctly don’t bluff in the points as it may give bad impression.

3) Another important point is DIAGRAMS. Most of the subjects in all branches have diagrams, so draw the diagram first before writing the theory part. The diagrams should be neat and clear so that it is clearly understood. Most of the marks can be scored in diagrams only.

4) If the diagram is too big then draw it in another page instead of drawing in remaining space left in the previous page.

5) Use a good pencil to draw the diagrams and do some ruff work before drawing it on the original location to avoid the scratches as well as to improve neatness.

6) Some questions doesn’t have diagrams we don’t find any diagrams in our text books or materials so for that kind of questions from the answer that you know try to develop a diagram or figure so that the complete diagram portraits the whole answer. So that the evaluator doesn’t concentrates much on your theory part.

7) If the answer contains any equations then try to write the equations separately in the next line and if possible draw a box over it using a pencil.

For programming languages:

o Most the questions will be given on programs instead of theory. For these type try to write the program clearly. It is better to confirm the program by doing ruff works if you are not sure about the program.

o Try to write the program from the next page if you at the end of the previous page.

o Make sure that your program ends with minimum number of lines.

o For theory type questions use flow chart representations along with theory and try to give example program to fetch good marks.

Tips for gaining pass marks in your exams:
o We can’t expect how the JNTU paper comes. Some times students who prepares well will also unable to answer the questions. But don’t fear here are some tips

o If you don’t know any of the questions or if you are seeing that type of questions first time just read the question carefully you will find some known words from that question try to write answer on those words as much as possible.

o Don’t write more number of pages from 40 fill at least 30 to 35 but don’t write below 15

o The answer should be written at least 3-5 pages

o Your handwriting should be neat and clear

o In programming languages try to write a related program which you know.

o Figures are important in the answers, try to figure out the answer and make sure to draw clearly and neatly.

o Don’t leave the paper without writing anything , try to write any related matter on that questions so that you may fetch at least pass marks.

Here we are giving scoring tips for u, To increase your percentage

1) Examination presentation is different from subject preparation. Even you prepared from non-standard kind of material that should not reflect in your examination paper

2) If you answer two or three questions from standard textbook., definitely you can understand the way of writing and you will present other two questions in that manner (Even though you prepared from non-standard text book).

3) Draw diagrams from standard (or prescribed) text books because non-standard books modifies original figures (Due to copy right problem)

4) At least prepare three units from standard book (If not possible go for two units)

5) Better to select small units (eg: Unit VIII of SE, Unit V of Java etc) and prepare all units from those units (You need to prepare in such a manner that you can answer any kind of question from that unit)

6) Some of the questions are indirect in nature, identify central point (Crux) of the question then start answer.

7) Your Exam is for 3 hours

* First 10 minutes are useful to select which questions to answer and use that time for plan of action (This process reduces your exam tension)

* Select best answer that you can present from given 8 questions (16 Marks, both a and b are required to answer)
* Answer that question in 40 minutes

* Answer remaining four questions (each question in 30 minutes)

* 10+40+120=170 Minutes

* Review your answers in last 10 minutes. (Don’t go for many corrections)

* In general, students waste their time in answering first question. It helps you to get few marks, because if you answer any other question in that time it helps you to score more.

* Programming kind of question means first explain the problem briefly, write the program, give the output and explain the program in detail (or brief based on marks)

* Answering point wise is useful only when you are confident about that answer (All the points are from standard book and relevant to the question). Don’t give scope for the valuer that you missed some points.

* Usage of underlines and color pens/pencils is based on your preparation (No need to worry about those things)

8) IMPORTANT: Don’t get disappointed or panic if the paper is difficult, use first 10 minutes to relate your knowledge to those questions.

9) Paper is difficult means that Set is difficult for all the students, if you attempt that Set by relating some points to the questions you will score high.
o Sometimes, students have idea on answer but often they left question, because they don’t know how to relate with indirect questions. Let me give an example for this
Example:
Consider SE exam and a student prepared answer for the following questions in Unit VIII.
What is meant by SQA? Discuss in detail SQA activities?

He can easily answer the question like
Discuss the importance of quality assurance?

But, observe the following university question in SE
Why is there often tension between a software engineering group and an independent Software quality assurance group? Is this healthy?

This question is given for 16 marks, the way of writing for this question is as follows

1) Define SQA (Software Quality Assurance) ==>1 Mark

2) Define Software Engineering ==>1 Mark

3) Explain the SQA activities ==>2 Marks

4) Explain SE activities ==>2 Marks

5) SQA vs. SE groups and compare both ==>2 Marks

6) Tension between and SE group and SQA group ==>6 Marks
* SE group concentrates on design issues and meeting requirements
* SQA group concentrates on standards
and quality factors
* SE group thinks about clients
* SQA group thinks about higher management who adopted standards
* Automatic mismatch between these two group and results for tension
* This tension reflects in efficiency, estimated time period, team management, affects requirements, cost factors etc.

7) Is this healthy? Better to write both pros and cons ==>2 Marks

8) Conclude your answer -

Remember if you write only first 5 points you will get 3 to 4 marks, even that score is also important. If you concentrate only on 6th point you will get marks between 6 and 8 (even it is main theme). Better to touch up all the points said above, so you will get marks between 10 and 14. Only thing to note is planning of answer is crucial.

I think all these points will gain you good marks

MOTTO OF HELPING HANDS....

Motto: “Helping hands are better than praying lips”.

Introduction

In the present materialistic world, there are few people and organizations who meditate upon the thought of helping others in any possible way. It is a known fact that one cannot do many things but a group or community can do. The belief in unity is a great source of motivation to start community service. The association is formed with an inspiration to share the human agony and contribute for the noble cause of human welfare.

It is a brain child of a group of engineering students. Unlike present day youngsters these Students were moved by the suffering of a peer student for whose treatment the college raised the money. Taking this as a brainwave, these students formed a group and started working towards a common goal. The individual ideas became team goals and in the due course these students started working for NSS, Extension services and other social causes in the college. The “SVCET HELPING HANDS ASSOCIATION” was formed in 2008. To start with they volunteered

· To donate an amount of 5000/- towards a peer student’s medical expenses.

· To contribute Rs.3500/- for an economically backward student’s tuition fee.

· To offer services in college extension services like blood donation camps, medical camps and other activities.

· To participate in the flood relief activities.

At present the association is working with immense zeal to accomplish the following objectives in the first year of its formation:

1. To contribute / donate / assist the education of economically poor students.

2. To carry out extensive plantation drives to encounter global warming.

3. To help the local hospitals by collecting the blood groups of the students and lending a helping hand during medical emergencies.

4. To act as volunteers for all the activities in the college and create the attitude of ownership and responsibility in the students towards the institution as well as the community.

5. To collect the old books from the students and provide them to the poor students who cannot afford to buy the books.

6. To organize various awareness programmes in the near by villages to motivate them towards ‘Gram Swaraj’ advocated by Gandhiji.

7. To work with orphanages and old age homes to share the much wanted affection and care.

8. To educate the people towards the eye and organ donation.
